It all begins with a quest for meaning. Our quest for the perfect routine first led us to Asia, where self-care is elevated to the status of art. Observing the contemporary obsession with Glass Hair — this fascinating Korean trend (K-Beauty) that highlights hair that is smooth, strong, and shiny as glass — we discovered that the secret to this perfection had nothing synthetic about it. The Mystery of Huangluo

Our research took us far from the hustle and bustle of Seoul, to the heart of the mountains in China's Guangxi province. It was there, in the remote village of Huangluo, that the true secret we wanted to share with the world resided.

The women of the Yao tribe, who live in this village, hold a fascinating world record: that of the longest, strongest, and darkest hair in the world. Even after 80 years, their hair, which often exceeds two meters, barely turns gray. Their secret does not lie in miraculous genetics, but in a ritual passed from mother to daughter for millennia: the fermented rice water bath.
